Foreword

GB/T 12001 "unplasticized PVC plastic molding and extrusion materials" is divided into two parts.

--- Part 1. Designation system and basis;

--- Part 2. Preparation and properties of the specimen was measured.

This section GB/T 12001 Part 1, this part identical with ISO 1163-1:1995 "Plastics unplasticized PVC (PUC-U) molding and extrusion materials - Part 1. Designation system and basis for specifications "(in English).

This section is equivalent translation ISO 1163-1:1995.

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

a) Remove the ISO 1163-1:1995 Foreword;

b) "This part of ISO 1163" to "GB/T 12001 this part" or "this part";

c) For ISO 1163-1:1995 international standard references, identical with its revised national standards.

This Part replaces GB/T 12001.1-1989 "unplasticized PVC window Moulding - Part 1. Designation" this section compared with the GB/T 12001.1-1989 The main changes are as follows.

a) the name was changed to "unplasticized PVC plastic molding and extrusion materials - Part 1. Designation system and basis";

b) character in group 2 adds some code;

c) modify the range of values \u200b\u200bin Table 2 of the symbols and their representatives.

This part is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

1 Scope

1.1 GB/T 12001 in the provisions of this section as unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) of thermoplastic material classification based naming system.

1.2 Different types of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic material distinction in a classification system. The system applies the following characteristic Values \u200b\u200bcan range as well as on recommended use and (or) method of processing, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers and reinforcing materials and other information basis.

This section does not apply to foam.
