Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 11701-1989 "Basic Regulations for Marine Gangways". Compared with GB/T 11701-1989, except for editorial changes In addition, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Modified the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 1989 edition);

b) The structure type of the telescopic gangway has been added (see

2.2 in the 1989 edition);

c) The nominal length of the telescopic gangway has been increased (see 4.1.3);

d) Modified the height of the handrail, and set two middle handrails (see 4.4,

4.4 in the 1989 edition);

e) Modified the nominal length (see 4.5,

4.1 in the 1989 edition);

f) Modified the step spacing (see 4.6,

4.3 in the 1989 edition);

g) The structural size of the railing spacing has been increased (see 4.7);

This standard specifies the classification, structural dimensions, technical requirements, test and inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of marine gangways. This standard applies to single-section gangway, multi-section gangway, telescopic gangway and gangway used in combination with pilot ladder (hereinafter referred to as Called the pilot gangway).

3 Categories
