This revised standard adopts ISO 3216:1997 "Chinese cinnamon oil." And ISO 3216:1997 as compared to the main technical differences are as follows.
--- Remove the ISO 3216:1997 method of sampling;
--- Test Methods "Common test methods for spices of" national standards;
--- ISO 3216:1997 specified trans-cinnamic aldehyde content of 70% to 88% of the standard 74% -88%;
--- The ISO 3216. 4.10 1997 as the content of this standard Annex B (informative);
--- Increased inspection rules;
--- For signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of the contents of specific provisions.
This standard replaces GB/T 11425-1989 "cinnamon." this standard compared with GB/T 11425-1989, the main changes are as follows.
--- Deleted taste indicators;
Determination --- trans-cinnamic aldehyde content by area normalization method instead of the internal standard method;
--- Added Appendix B representative and characteristic component content range.
This standard Annex A, Annex B is informative appendix.
