Scope

GB/T 11075-2013 is the English-translated version of 碳酸锂.

GB/T 11075-2013 is the Chinese national standard on lithium carbonate, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 6 September 2013 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 May 2014. Classification: ICS 77.150.99, CCS H64. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the issuing body are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are in the document itself, which is delivered complete in English translation.

Foreword

This Standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 11075-2003 "Lithium carbonate". As compared with GB/T 11075-2003, the main technical changes of this Standard are as follows: - ADD lithium carbonate produced from brine as raw material to the scope of application; - Product's water content is separated from the previous chemical composition and becomes a separate inspection item; - Reduce the content of impurity elements such as Na, Fe, etc. and water content in the product; - Increase the content of chloride ion impurity element in the product; - The lot grouping weight is changed from the previous net weight 1 t ~ 18 t each lot to the net weight of not more than 20 t each lot of products; - The net weight of each bag is changed from 25 kg±25 g to 20 kg ~ 1000 kg. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee 243 on Non-ferrous Metal of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 243). Drafting organizations of this Standard. Xinjiang Haoxin Lithium Salts Development Co., Ltd., Tianqi Lithium Corporation, General Lithium (Haimen) Corporation, Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd., Baiyin Zhabuye Lithium Industry Co., Ltd., Sichuan Ni&Co Guorun New Materials Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Guoneng Lithium Industry Co., Ltd.. Main drafters of this Standard. Chen Yuedi, Yan Chunli, Jin Peng, Li Nanping, Xie Shaozhong, Xu Zhongji, Zhang Youjun, Gong Zhixing, Lin Fangxiang. The previous editions of the standard replaced by this Standard were released as follows: - GB/T 11075-1989, GB/T 11075-2003. Lithium carbonate
