Foreword

This part of ISO 13918:2008 headless studs (UT type) the main changes are as follows.

--- In the reference file, instead of using our standards with international standards (Chapter 2);

--- ISO 13918 does not provide packaging technology requirements in this section shall be specified (see Table 2);

--- ISO 13918 does not provide for a simplified mark, according to this part of GB/T 1237 presents a simplified markup example (see 5.2).

This Part replaces GB/T 10432-1989 "headless stud welding." this section compared with the GB/T 10432-1989 main changes are as follows.

--- Increasing the preface;

--- Adjustment references (Chapter 2);

--- Adopt ISO 13918 in UT type headless studs, their type and size substantially the same as the old standard (Chapter 3);

--- Increase in stainless steel and non-ferrous metal studs, and provides performance rating. 4.8 carbon steel (carbon content should be less than equal to 0.18%, and shall not be used cutting steel), stainless steel A2-50 (cutting steel shall not be used), as well as non-ferrous metal is CU2 (see Table 2).

Discharge welding studs with headless

1 Scope

This section GB/T 10432 specifies the nominal diameter of 3mm ~ 6mm of discharge welding of the headless studs (UT type).
