Foreword

Chapters 1, 4 and 6 of this standard are mandatory and the rest are recommended. This standard is written in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 7302-2008 "feed additive folic acid". The main technical differences between this standard and GB/T 7302-2008 are.

--- Appearance and traits increase the number of tiny particles (see 4.1);

--- Change the dry weight loss to moisture, using Karl Fischer assay (see 4.2);

--- Increased the requirement for heavy metals (in terms of Pb) not greater than

10.0 mg/kg (see 4.2);

--- Increased the requirement for total arsenic not more than 2.0mg/kg (see 4.2). 1 Scope

GB 7302-2018 is the Chinese national standard on feed additive - folic acid, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 28 December 2018 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 January 2020.
