GB 7000.4-2007 — This section provides the child with the safety requirements for portable lamps, light source using a power supply voltage not exceeding 250V incandescent light or single Ended fluorescent lamps. This section to be used with GB 7000.1 relevant chapter. Under the following circumstances, this section does not apply. --- Because of the need festivals or celebrations, as an additional decorative element is placed in a temporary special decorative structure luminaries; --- Combined with a plug background illumination lamps, for example, a component of the device is inserted; --- Battery lamp or lamps not directly connected to the main power supply; ---toy; --- Designed for adults or adult is clearly lamps; --- With people or animals (modeling or graphics) on the removable cover of the two-dimensional graphics lamps.

This section should be GB 7000.1-2007. used with "lamps Part 1 General requirements and tests."

This Part replaces GB 7000.4-1996 "interested child luminaries safety requirements."

7000.4-1996 compared with GB , major changes in this section are as follows.

--- Standard name and scope changes, this edition lists six kinds of situations do not apply (see 1.1).

Electric shock protection classification --- 1996 version of the children's lamp was III class edition classified as Class II and III class (see 4.1).
