Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 6694-1998 "Cypermethrin Technical Grade". Compared with GB/T 6694-1998, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes.

Aside from the modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The technical requirements for appearance have been changed (see 4.1, 3.1 in the 1998 edition);

---The mass fraction of cypermethrin has been changed (see 4.2, 3.2 in the 1998 edition);

---The ranking system has been removed (see section 3.2 of the 1998 edition);

---The sampling method has been changed (see 5.2, 4.1 of the 1998 edition);

---An infrared spectroscopy identification test has been added (see 5.3.1);

---The method for determining the mass fraction of cypermethrin has been revised (see 5.5, 4.3 of the 1998 edition, and Appendix A);

---The method for determining moisture content has been changed (see 5.6, 4.4 in the 1998 edition);

---The method for determining acidity has been changed (see 5.7, 4.5 in the 1998 edition);

---Added inspection rules (see Chapter 6);

---Security has been removed (see 5.6 of the 1998 version).

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, acceptance and quality guarantee period for cypermethrin technical grade, as well as its marking, labeling, packaging, and storage.

The test method for cypermethrin technical grade is described.

This document applies to the quality control of cypermethrin technical products.

Note. Other names, structural formulas and basic physicochemical parameters of cypermethrin can be found in Appendix A.
