Introduction

The various parts of GB (GB/T) 6675 "Toy Safety" and GB/T 19865 "Safety of Electric Toys" together constitute the toy safety standard system.

Toys that comply with these document requirements will reduce the proportion of toys used in the intended manner (normal use) and used in unintended manner (foreseeable future use).

The potential dangers caused by the abuse of [the substance].

GB (GB/T) 6675 "Toy Safety" is divided into basic specifications, general requirements, and specific requirements, and is proposed to consist of the following parts.

---Part 1.Basic Standards. The purpose is to standardize the basic safety requirements for toy products.

---Part 2.Mechanical and Physical Properties. The purpose is to standardize the general requirements for the mechanical and physical properties of toy products.

---Part 3.Flammability. The purpose is to standardize the general requirements for the flammability of toy products.

---Part 4.Migration of Specific Elements. The purpose is to standardize general requirements for migratable elements in toy products.

---Part 9.Experimental toys for chemical and similar activities. The purpose is to regulate specific requirements for this type of toy product.

---Part 10.Olfactory play toys, cosmetic sets, and gustatory play toys. The aim is to regulate these types of toy products.

Specific requirements.

---Part 11.Household swings, slides and similar indoor and outdoor play toys. The purpose is to regulate the characteristics of these toys.

Requirements are set.

---Part 13.Chemical Toy Sets (excluding laboratory toys). The purpose is to regulate specific requirements for this type of toy product.

---Part 14.Requirements and Test Methods for Finger Paints. The purpose is to standardize specific requirements for this type of toy product.

This document outlines specific requirements for chemical toy sets, excluding laboratory toys, and is consistent with GB 6675.1, GB 6675.2, GB 6675.3, and GB 6675.4.

Use in conjunction with GB/T 19865.

This document does not and does not intend to absolve parents of their responsibilities, including the responsibility to choose appropriate toys and to ensure that children of different ages are comfortable using the same toy.

Regulatory responsibilities, etc.

This document outlines national toy safety standards for chemical-themed toy sets, excluding laboratory toys.

Taking into account normal child behavior, this document attempts to reduce the risk of chemical-based toys being used for their intended purpose or in a foreseeable manner.

The potential harm or danger to a child's health.

When using these chemical-themed toys, it is important to include information about potential hazards, dangers, and other issues that warrant special attention, thus mitigating potential risks.

The danger is minimized.

The list of Chemical Abstracts Registry Numbers (CAS Numbers) provided in the tables of this document is for reference only.
