GB 48147.2-2026 is the English-translated version of 矿山隐蔽致灾因素普查规范 第2部分:煤矿.
This mandatory national standard forms Part 2 of a series on the general survey of hidden disaster-causing factors in mines, and it deals specifically with coal mines.
Concealed hazards can trigger serious accidents underground, and a systematic survey is the means of locating them. Coal mine operators, geological and survey service companies, mine safety consultants, and supervisory bodies are the people who will refer to it.
It was issued on 27 August 2026 under the responsibility of the National Mine Safety Administration and takes effect on 1 March 2027. As a GB standard it is mandatory in China, so coal mines subject to Chinese regulation need to take it into account.
Other parts of the series cover general provisions and metal and non-metal mines with tailings ponds, so users may need several parts depending on their operation.
