This document specifies the safety production requirements for offshore oil and gas extraction operations. This document applies to the safety management of offshore oil and gas exploitation in waters with a charted water depth exceeding 5 m.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB 40554.1 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Manned platform A platform with living facilities, staffed during daily production, and staffed for on-site operations.

3.2 unmanned platform Platforms without living facilities, unattended in daily production, and unmanned on-site operations (excluding platforms with manned platforms and trestle bridges) connected platforms).

3.3 mobile production platform mobile production platform With movable legs, the platform can be raised to a certain height above the sea surface and lowered back to the sea surface, and can be repeatedly placed, floated and moved.
