Scope
GB 34470-2017 is the English-translated version of 饲料添加剂 磷酸二氢钾.
GB 34470-2017 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labelling, packaging, transport, storage and shelf life of the feed additive potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH2PO4, relative molecular mass 136.08), and applies to the product made from thermal-process or wet-process phosphoric acid.
The product is a white, odourless, water-soluble powder or crystalline granules with at least 98.0% KH2PO4 and 22.3% phosphorus on a dry basis, 28.0% to 32.0% potassium, and limits of 200 mg/kg fluorine, 30 mg/kg lead, 10 mg/kg arsenic, 30 mg/kg chromium, 0.5% sulfate, 0.5% loss on drying and 0.2% water-insoluble matter.
Test methods cover identification of phosphate and potassium, gravimetric determination of KH2PO4 by quinoline phosphomolybdate precipitation, potassium by sodium tetraphenylborate precipitation, sulfate by barium sulfate gravimetry, and fluorine, lead, arsenic, chromium, loss on drying and water-insoluble matter by reference to GB/T 13083, GB/T 13080, GB/T 13079, GB/T 13088 and GB 25560; the inspection rules set batches of at most 10 t and the factory inspection items.
