1 Scope of application

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1

Sulfuric acid industry

Refers to the production of sulfur dioxide furnace gas from sulfur, pyrite and gypsum, and sulfuric acid products through sulfur dioxide conversion and sulfur trioxide absorption.

Industrial enterprise or production facility.

3.2

Existing enterprise existing facility

Refers to the sulfuric acid industrial enterprises or production facilities that have been approved for production or environmental impact assessment documents before the date of implementation of this standard.

3.3

New enterprise new facility

Refers to the construction, reconstruction and expansion of the sulfuric acid industrial construction project approved by the environmental impact assessment document from the date of implementation of this standard.

3.4

Public wastewater treatment system

Refers to collecting waste water through sewage pipelines, providing wastewater treatment services for more than two sewage disposal units and draining can reach relevant rows

Direct discharge

Effluent volume

Refers to the amount of wastewater discharged by a production facility or enterprise outside the legal boundaries of the enterprise, including various effluxes that are directly or indirectly related to production.

Waste water (such as domestic sewage, cooling wastewater, plant boilers and power station drainage).

3.8

Benchmark effluent volume per unit product

Refers to the upper limit of the displacement of the production unit sulfuric acid (100%) product specified for the approval of the concentration of water pollutants.

3.9

Sulfuric acid industrial tail gas

It refers to the exhaust gas continuously discharged from the exhaust pipe at the top of the absorption tower or after further desulfurization, mainly containing sulfur dioxide and sulfuric acid mist.

3.10

Standard condition

Refers to the state when the temperature is 273.15 K and the pressure is 101 325 Pa, which is referred to as "standard state". The emission of atmospheric pollutants specified in this standard is concentrated

3.13

Enterprise boundary

Refers to the legal boundary of the sulfuric acid industrial enterprise. If the boundary cannot be determined, it refers to the actual boundary of the enterprise.

4 Pollutant emission control requirements

4.1 Water pollutant emission control requirements

4.1.1 From October 1,.2011 to September 30,.2013, existing enterprises implement the water pollutant discharge limits specified in Table 1.

4.1.4 According to the requirements of environmental protection work, the density of land development has been higher, the environmental carrying capacity has begun to weaken, or the water environment capacity

4.2 Air Pollutant Emission Control Requirements

4.2.1 From October 1,.2011 to September 30,.2013, existing enterprises implement the air pollutant emission limits specified in Table 4.

4.2.7 In the production process after the completion of environmental protection and acceptance of production and construction projects of existing enterprises, the competent environmental protection department responsible for supervision shall respond
