GB 15092.2-2014 — Except for the following content, Chapter 1 of GB/T 15092.1-2020 applies. Increase. This document applies to electrical appliances and other electrical appliances with a rated voltage not higher than 250V and a rated current not higher than 16A for household or similar purposes.
A mechanical or electronic soft-wire switch used in equipment that is driven or controlled by hands, feet or other human body movements. In this document the word "appliance" means "appliance or equipment".
This type of switch must be operated by a person through an actuator or by an excitation sensor device.
The actuator or sensor device is physically attached or Electrically integrated with the switch or configured separately, it may also include signal transmission between the actuator or sensor and the switch, such as electrical, Optical, acoustic or temperature signal transmission.
Switches with additional control functions subject to the control of the switch function are within the scope of this document. This document also covers indirectly driven switches, where the operation of the actuator or sensor device is by a remote control, part of the appliance (e.g. door) to reach.
Note 1.Electronic switches can be combined with mechanical switches that provide full disconnection or micro-disconnection. Note 2.Electronic switches without mechanical switches in the power circuit only provide electronic disconnection, therefore, the circuit on the load side is always considered live.
Note 3.For switches used in tropical climates, additional requirements may apply. Note 4.Note that appliance standards may contain additional requirements or replacement requirements for switches.

This document replaces GB/T 15092.2-2014 "Appliance Switches Part 2: Special Requirements for Soft Wire Switches" and is the same as GB/T 15092.2-Compared with 2014, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added 12.3.106b) as "As long as the insulation layer of the flexible wire is not cut or obviously damaged, flexible deformation is allowed" [see 12.3.106b)];
b) The outer diameter range in Table 101 is deleted (see the 2014 version of Table 101);
c) Change the title of Chapter 24 "Electronic Switching Components" to "Switching Components" (see Chapter 24, Chapter 24 of the 2014 edition);
d) Change the title of Figure 104 "Torque test equipment for cord fixtures" to "Torque test equipment for cord fixtures" (see
Figure 104, 2014 version of Figure 104).
This document is modified to adopt IEC 61058-2-1:2018 "Appliance switches Part 2-1.Special requirements for flexible cord switches".
The technical differences between this document and IEC 61058-2-1:2018 and their reasons are as follows.
