Scope

GB 13641-2025 is the English-translated version of 劳动护肤剂通用技术条件.

GB 13641 covers the barrier creams and cleansers issued to workers whose hands are exposed to oils, solvents, acids, alkalis or dust - the protective skin products that sit alongside gloves in an occupational health programme. It sets the classification, the technical requirements, the test methods, and the rules for inspection, marking, packaging, transport and storage, and it is the document a manufacturer must satisfy to sell such a product in China. The change that matters in this edition is its status: the previous text was GB/T 13641-2006, recommended, while the 2025 edition is a GB without the /T, so compliance is now mandatory. Issued on 29 August 2025, in force since 1 September 2026. This page is published from the official record of the standard held by the Chinese standards administration: the identification, the dates, the classification and the edition it replaces are taken from there. The clause text, the tables and the numeric limits are not reproduced on this page - they are in the document itself, which is delivered in full in English translation.
