This standard replaces GB 12341-1990 "1.25000,1.50000,1.100000 topographic map Aerophotogrammetry outside the industry norm." this standard compared with GB 12341-1990 main changes are as follows.
--- According to GB/T 1.1-2000 "Standardization Guide Part 1. Standard structure and drafting of rules" were the standard Amendment;
--- Modify the scope of the standard;
--- Increased eight normative references;
--- Topographic map specifications for the content has been modified;
--- Increased tone paint content.
The standard Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F, Appendix G are normative appendices.
The Standard Appendix A, Appendix B is an informative annex.
This standard was proposed by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee on Geographical Information.
This standard was drafted. National Mapping Bureau of Surveying and Mapping Standardization Institute.
Introduction
With the development of science and technology, tremendous changes in production technology and mapping systems occurred. In order to maintain the integrity of the original technology system, now Systematic coordination between the standard and the standard system, the integrity, the standard revision process, proven correct and reasonable Technical methods and specifications shall be maintained on the relevant standards and uncoordinated content has been modified. New technologies and methods related to another Line established.

3 General
3.1 Specification topographic map
3.1.1 Spatial Reference System
The state plane coordinate system uses a unified coordinate system; while, if necessary, can be used according to the law approved by the independent coordinate system. Projection, high Drive system according to GB/T 18315 execution.
3.1.2 Framing and Numbers
Framing and numbered GB/T 13989 execution.
3.1.3 The basic contour interval the basic contour interval by GB/T 18315 execution. Press terrain category within Mapsheet range most of the ground slope and elevation divided (see Table 1).
When the height and slope of the ground conflict, the slope of the ground prevail. A picture should adopt a basic contour interval, the basic contour interval does not indicate relief Features should be added between the measured curve and help curve.
3.1.4 Elevation Note
Elevation Note the obvious point should be selected in the feature point and the terrain feature points, its density is within the figure per 100cm2, plains, hills 10 ~ 20, mountains, alpine terrain and ground feature points sparse areas of 8 to 15.
Elevation Annotation in meters, 1.25000 mapping should note to 0.1m, 1.50000,1.100000 mapping should note to the whole meter.
3.1.5 Symbols and Notes
Symbols of topographic maps and a variety of annotation according to GB/T 20257.3 of.
