This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GA/T 704.14-2007 "Exit-Entry Administration Information Code Part 14. Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents machine Reading sequence identity ", compared with the GA/T 704.14-2007, the main changes are as follows.

--- Fixed some textual representation Edition 1999 Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents machine-readable code sequence identity (see the edition 4.1,2007 Chapter 4);

--- 2012 version adds Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents machine-readable code sequence identity (see 4.2);

--- Increasing the machine-readable code check digit algorithm (see Chapter 5);

--- Increased holder Chinese name GB K CICS code conversion algorithm (see Chapter 6).

From the date of implementation of this part of GA/T 704.14-2007 annulled.

1 Scope

GA/T 704 provisions of this part of the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents machine-readable code sequence identity.

This section applies to public security and immigration management, information technology processing and management information.

4 sequence identity

Version 4.1 1999 Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents

4.1.1 The first line of the machine readable code the first line of the machine readable code, a total of 30 characters.

1 to 2. ID name and type code, "C < " indicates the 1999 edition Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents;

3 to 5. Issuing country code, Latin capital letter "CHN" indicate China;

6 to 25. Chinese name of the holder, with the GB 2312 Character area code, represent a total of 5 characters before, taking the name of more than five characters 5 characters, the remaining characters automatically discarded when trailing by less than five characters "< " filled;
