1 Scope

This part of GA/T 527 specifies the general rules, implementation conditions, response methods, control strategies, and controls for priority traffic control at bus intersections.

Technical requirements such as system, control scheme, and signal timing.

This section applies to the design and application of priority traffic control at bus intersections.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 31418 and GA/T 527.1 apply to this document.

4 General

To implement priority access control at bus intersections, the following principles need to be considered.

a) Traffic jams at intersections and other motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians should be avoided to ensure safe and orderly traffic;

b) It should be combined with other motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians according to the bus mode, operation plan and traffic flow at the intersection.

In other cases, determine the priority control scheme of the intersection signal to improve the traffic efficiency of the bus;

c) Consideration should be given to the consideration of the access control of other motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, pedestrians, etc. at the intersection, minimizing the the impact of non-motor vehicles, pedestrians, etc.
