3.1 Terms and definitions

GB/T

The following terms and definitions defined by 37078 apply to this document.

3.1.1

Reading equipment reader Electronic equipment that can read, identify and output credential information, also known as a reading device.

Note.

Types include code reading equipment, biometric reading equipment, article feature reading equipment, etc.

3.1.2

Code reading device ID code reader in the entrance and exit control system, the user-defined character recognition technology is used to read the coded voucher of the entry and exit target, and the identification can be read out.

The information is transmitted to a single electronic device of the entrance and exit controller, or a combination of multiple electronic devices.
