Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GA 804-2008 "Special Sealing Device for Motor Vehicle License Plates". Compared with GA 804-2008, in addition to structural adjustments and in addition to logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definition of the special sealing device for motor vehicle license plates has been changed (see 3.1, 3.1 of the 2008 edition);

b) The definition of the sealed base has been changed (see 3.2, 3.2 of the 2008 edition);

c) Added the components of the special sealing device for motor vehicle license plates (see Chapter 4);

d) The appearance requirements have been changed (see 5.1, 4.1 of the 2008 edition);

e) The specifications and dimensions have been changed (see 5.2, 4.2 of the 2008 edition);

f) Changed the material requirements (see 5.3, 4.3 of the 2008 edition);

g) Added quality requirements (see 5.4);

h) The requirements for tensile strength of bolts have been deleted (see 4.4 of the 2008 edition);

i) Changed the installation requirements (see 5.8, 4.8 of the 2008 edition);

j) The anti-disassembly performance has been changed (see 5.10, 4.10 of the 2008 edition);

k) The appearance test method has been changed (see 6.1, 5.1 of the 2008 edition);

l) The dimensional test method has been changed (see 6.2, 5.2 of the 2008 edition);

m) Added material testing methods (see 6.3);

n) Added quality test methods (see 6.4);

o) The test method for tensile strength of bolts has been deleted (see 5.3 of the 2008 edition);

p) The bolt hardness performance test method has been changed (see 6.5, 5.4 of the 2008 edition);

q) The test method for the torsion resistance of bolts has been changed (see 6.6, 5.5 of the 2008 edition);

r) The anti-rust performance test method has been changed (see 6.7, 5.6 of the 2008 edition);

s) The installation inspection method has been changed (see 6.8, 5.7 of the 2008 edition);

t) The anti-loosening performance test method has been changed (see 6.9, 5.8 of the 2008 edition);

u) The anti-disassembly performance test method has been changed (see 6.10, 5.9 of the 2008 edition);

v) The inspection categories have been changed (see 7.1, 6.1 of the 2008 edition);

w) The inspection conditions for type inspection have been changed (see 7.2.1, 6.2.1 of the 2008 edition);

x) Added type inspection methods and judgments (see 7.2.2);

y) The factory inspection has been changed (see 7.3, 6.3 of the 2008 edition);

z) Deleted the judgment rules (see 6.4 of the 2008 edition);

aa) Added the requirements for batch consistency testing (see 7.4);

ab) Deleted the others in the inspection rules (see 6.5 of the 2008 edition);

ac) Added marking requirements (see 8.1);

ad) The packaging requirements have been changed (see 8.1, 7.1 of the 2008 edition);

ae) Production management (see Chapter 8 of the 2008 edition) has been deleted.

1 Scope

This document specifies the composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and transportation of the special sealing device for motor vehicle license plates.

Transport and storage.

This document applies to the production and inspection of motor vehicle license plate sealing devices.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

A device for fixing a motor vehicle license plate made of metal material on a motor vehicle license plate plate (frame).

Note. Motor vehicle license plate (frame) refers to the license plate (frame) that conforms to the definition in GB 15741.

Fixing base

The bolt heads are hidden therein, and the components of the motor vehicle license plate are fixed with the bolts.

Fixing cap

A component that is buckled onto the solid sealing base to enclose the bolt heads in the solid sealing base in a space.
