Foreword

All technical content of this standard is mandatory.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GA 802-2014 "Vehicle Type Terms and Definitions". Compared with GA 802-2014, except for editorial changes the main technical changes are as follows.

---Modified "standard name" (see standard name, standard name of the 2014 edition);

---Added the reference to GB 7258 and deleted the reference to GB 1589 (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2014 edition);

---Modified the terms and definitions of "tramcar" (see 3.1.1.1, 3.8 in the 2014 edition);

---Modified the terms and definitions of "Assembled Vehicles" (see 3.3, 3.12 of the 2014 edition);

---Modified the terms and definitions of "illegal modified vehicles" (see 3.4, 3.13 in the 2014 edition);

1 Scope

This standard specifies the specifications and structural classification of motor vehicle types, the classification of the nature of use of motor vehicles, and the determination requirements for vehicle types.

This standard applies to road traffic management.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB 7258 apply to this document.

Road vehicle Design and manufacture vehicles that are used to carry people, deliver goods or perform special operations on roads, and are allowed to drive on roads by law, including Motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles.

Motorvehicle

Driven or towed by a power unit, used for passengers to travel on the road, or used to transport items and perform special engineering operations Wheeled vehicles, including automobiles and automobile trains, motorcycles, wheeled special machinery vehicles, trailers, trams, special motor vehicles, and road vehicles Tractors, excluding persons with disabilities who have a power unit but whose maximum design speed, curb weight, and outline dimensions meet relevant national standards Motor wheelchairs and electric bicycles.

Tram

A motor vehicle driven by a motor, powered by a wire, and loaded on a track.

3.1.1.2

Tractor roadtractor driving on the road Wheeled tractors with maximum design speed less than or equal to 20km/h, such as walking tractors, and wheeled tractors with maximum design speed less than or equal to 40km/h, A wheeled tractor that can only be used for road transportation by towing a trailer.

Vehicletype

The type of motor vehicle determined according to the specifications and structure of the motor vehicle.

Ilegaly-assembled vehicle Motor vehicles produced without the permission of the national motor vehicle product authority; or used motor vehicles that are scrapped, smuggled, or compensated after an accident
