This standard is a revision of GA 183-1998 "Safety Regulations for Fireworks and Firecrackers in Fireworks Show".

1 Scope

This standard specifies the scale, qualification, technical design and organization implementation plan, safety assessment and safety of fireworks and firecrackers.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

4 Scale

4.3 One of the following conditions is Class B.

a) fireworks show for provincial-level events;

b) The diameter of the fireworks that are fired is greater than or equal to 178mm (7'') and less than 305mm (12'');

c) The diameter of the fireworks displayed is greater than or equal to 102mm (4''), and the number is greater than or equal to 1000 rounds and less than 2000 rounds.

4.4 One of the following conditions is Class C.

a) fireworks show for large-scale events at the city level;

b) The diameter of the fireworks displayed is greater than or equal to 102mm (4'') and the number is less than 1000 rounds.

5 Qualification

5.1 The unit that undertakes the A-level fireworks show discharge project shall meet the following conditions.

a) have corporate legal person conditions;

b) Practical experience in design and operation of fireworks display engineering with Class B and above;

c) There shall be no less than 3 relevant technical and technical personnel, such as engineering technology and arts and crafts with senior technical titles, with intermediate technical posts.
