3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 bust girth
The largest horizontal measurement around the fullest part of the breast when the breast is naturally lifted while wearing a well-fitting, single-layer, unpadded, unsupported brassiere.
3.2 underbust girth
The size of the breast measured around the base of the breast.
3.3 brassiere cup
The part of a brassiere that covers the breasts.
3.4 under border
The part that a brassiere covers the underbust girth part.
3.5 lateral wing
The part that a brassiere covers the breasts, armpits and back.
4 Models and specifications
4.1 Models
4.1.1 The type is indicated by the brassiere cup code. The size is indicated by the number of centimeters of underbust girth. For example, A75 or 75A indicates a cup type of A, with a underbust girth of 75 cm.
4.1.2 The brassiere cup code indicates the difference between the bust girth and
underbust girth of the appropriate human body, see Table 1.
4.1.3 The base size of the underbust girth is 75 cm. The sizes are divided into different sizes in 5 cm increments, increasing or decreasing in sequence.
4.2 Specifications
4.2.1 The names of the various parts of the brassiere are shown in Annex A. The specifications of the measurement parts and regulations are shown in Table 2 and Figure
1 (the style in Figure 1 is only an example).
4.2.2 The dimensions are measured from the left side of the product.
5 Requirements
5.1 Requirements are divided into intrinsic quality and appearance quality. Intrinsic quality includes fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, odor, degradable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, color fastness to water, color fastness to soap washing, color fastness to rubbing, color fastness to perspiration, etc. Appearance quality includes specifications and size deviation, size difference of symmetrical parts, surface defects, etc.
5.2 Grading regulations
5.2.1 Brassieres are divided into superior products, first-class products and qualified
6 Tests
6.1 Intrinsic quality inspection
6.1.1 Specimen preparation
Intrinsic quality test samples shall be taken from finished products. If the finished product size is insufficient, samples can be taken from the same batch of fabrics (including lining and interlining) of the same batch of products. The samples shall not have defects that affect the test results.
6.1.2 Test methods
6.1.2.1 Fiber content
It shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of FZ/T 01057 (all parts),
GB/T 2910 (all parts), FZ/T 01026 and FZ/T 01095.
6.1.2.2 Formaldehyde content
According to GB/T 2912.1.
6.1.2.3 pH value
According to GB/T 7573.
6.1.2.4 Odor
According to GB 18401.
6.1.2.5 Decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes
According to GB/T 17592.
6.1.2.6 Color fastness to water
It shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5713.When it is impossible to take a whole specimen from the finished product for one test and there is no fabric from the same batch, a 4 cm × 5 cm specimen may be taken and sewn together with a lining of the same size for separate tests.
6.1.2.7 Color fastness to washing with soap
The test conditions A(1) of GB/T 3921-2008 shall be followed. If it is not possible to take a whole specimen from the finished product for one test and there is no fabric from the same batch, a 4 cm × 5 cm specimen may be taken and sewn together with a lining of the same size for separate tests.
