Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces FZ/T 41004-1999 "Tuscan Silkworms." Compared with FZ/T 41004-1999, the main changes are as follows.
--- In the scope of application, the "Cotton and other fiber blended tinfoil can be referred to for implementation" (see Chapter 1);
--- Add GB/T 6529, GB/T 8170, GB/T 9995, GB/T 13783 and GB/T 32015 in the normative references (See Chapter 2);
--- Increased the terms and definitions of bar weight, design bar weight, nodule, staple fiber (see Chapter 3);
--- Increased the classification and labeling of tussah cotton strips (see Chapter 4);
--- Adjusted the grading regulations, added superior products, and changed qualified products to second-grade goods (see 5.1, 1999 version 3.7.1);
--- Adjusted the inspection items and quality technical specifications, increased the short fiber rate, and changed the rate of difference between the weights and the excess weight rate the deviation rate and the coefficient of variation of the bar weight change the sericin-containing rate to the training rate, change the oil-containing rate to the oil-retaining rate, and set the strength of the bundle fiber.
Selective inspection of projects (see 5.2, 1999, 3.2, 3.4, 3.6);
--- Adjust the maximum value of the moisture regain of the package from 15% to 13% (see 5.5, 1999 version 3.5);
--- Adjusted sampling quantity and method (see 6.2, 1999 version 4.1);
--- Adjusted and improved the weight inspection rules (see 6.3.2, 1999 version 4.2);
--- Added appearance inspection rules and requirements (see 6.3.3);
--- The number of specimens to be retested from 10 to 20 (see 6.3.4.2.1, 1999 version 4.4.2.1);
--- Increased detection method and calculation formula for the weight of the common weight in the strip weight test (see 6.3.4.2.3, 6.3.4.3.2);
--- Adjust the calculation formula of the difference rate of the bar weight and the bar excess rate in the bar check test to the calculation of the bar deviation rate and the coefficient of variation of the bar weight Formula (see 6.3.4.3, 1999 edition 4.4.2.3, 4.5);
--- Increase the test method and calculation formula of short fiber rate (see 6.3.5.2.4, 6.3.5.3.2);
--- Adjusted the partial cleanliness regulations (see 6.3.6.2, 4.8.2 of the 1999 edition);
--- Increased the requirement for recording only 5 mm or more of cotton in the test of cotton (see 6.3.7.2);
--- The sericin-containing test shall be adjusted to the test of rate of reduction, and shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 32015 (see 6.3.8, 4.10 of the 1999 edition);
--- Adjust the test for oil content to the oil content test and adjust the relevant method (see 6.3.9, 4.11 of the 1999 edition);
--- The beam fiber strength test method is adjusted to perform according to GB/T 13783 (see 6.3.10, 1999 version of 4.7);
--- Adjusted the requirements for packaging and marking (see Chapter 7, Chapter 5 of the 1999 edition);
--- Removed the transportation and storage requirements (see Chapter 6 of the 1999 edition);
--- Removed acceptance rules (see Chapter 7 of the 1999 edition);
--- Increased numerical rounding requirements (see Chapter 9).
This standard is proposed by the China Textile Industry Federation.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Silk Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC401).
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, inspection rules, packaging and markings for tussah and cotton.
This standard applies to round comb or combed pure tussah cotton strips. Tussah silk and other fiber blends can be used as reference.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Weight sliverweight
The linear density of the sliver is expressed in terms of the weight of the 1m sliver.
Design bar weight designedsliverweight the nominal value of the denier line density.
Cotton knot nep
A knot that is tangled or glued by fibers is a fibrous knot.
Short fiber Fibers shorter than a certain length limit.
Note. The short fiber length limit in this document is 30mm.
4 Classification and labeling
4.1 Classification
The tussah silk strips are classified into circular comb strips and combed strips according to the processing technology, and are divided into A, B, and C types according to the average fiber length. Table 1 as shown.
