This standard replaces CJ/T 359-2010 "aluminum water meter case and fittings." this standard is CJ/T 359-2010 "aluminum water case and fittings" revision, compared with the CJ/T 359-2010 main technology the changes are as follows.

--- Increase the stainless steel case and fittings requirements (see all chapters, sections,);

--- Increase the provisions of the torque applied to the pipe joints (see 4.6);

--- Supplement factory inspection (see 6.2.1,6.2.2);

--- Increase the factory inspection sampling method (see 6.2.3);

--- Supplementary type test (see 6.3.1);

--- Increase judgment rules (see 6.4);

--- Increasing the aluminum case and pipe fittings installation requirements (see 7.2.2);

--- Removed terms and definitions (see the 2010 edition of Chapter 3);

--- Remove the aluminum case and fittings can be the same size, the same structure to replace cast copper, cast iron products, thread tolerance requirements in line with GB/T 197 (see 2010 version 4.4.3).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the aluminum alloy, stainless steel water meter case and meter cover, pipe fittings, connecting nuts (hereinafter referred to as the fittings) of the material to Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.
