1 Foreword

This standard specifies the classification, structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of polyethylene horizontal blow moulded cans. This standard applies to liquid products such as water and liquid fertilizers. Polyethylene horizontal blow-moulded cans (hereinafter referred to as horizontal cans) formed of polyethylene with polyethylene as the main raw material and blow molding process. Horizontal cans used for holding other liquid products may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
