Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document adopts the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 9873:2019 "Dental Mouth Mirror". Compared with ISO 9873:2019, the main technical differences include.

--- Regarding normative reference documents, this document has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to the technical conditions of our country and the circumstances of the adjustment.

The situation is reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative References", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

- Replace ISO 724 with GB/T 196 which is modified to adopt international standard;

- Replaced ISO 965-1 with GB/T 197 which was modified to adopt international standard;

- Replace ISO 1942 with GB/T 9937 which is modified to adopt international standard;

- Replace ISO 5864 with GB/T 20666 which is modified to adopt international standard;

- Replace ISO 263 with GB/T 20670 which is modified to adopt international standard;

- Replacing ISO 17664 with YY/T 0802, which has been modified to adopt international standards.

--- Changed the description of the definition of the rod in Terms and Definitions to meet the relevant requirements of the connection strength between the frame and the rod in 4.4 (see 3.3).

Introduction

This document specifies requirements for a dental instrument commonly used in dentistry for oral viewing and retraction.

However, there are other mirrors made of different structural designs or materials, including non-glass-coated reflective surfaces with polished Metal mirror with reflective surface. 1 Scope
