Dental implants do not have the characteristics of individual teeth, It is obtained through its supporting restorations. Therefore, the implant body can be described as a location with an implied crown shape.
Instead, specific teeth have a fixed shape and position. In both cases, this information can be supplemented in the form of additional notes.
For treatment, trauma, or social reasons, various instruments can be implanted in or around the jaw, many of which are not internal bone teeth Implant. Given that these make up most of the implants in the oral and maxillofacial region, and the industry is in dire need of a marked implant And location standard methods, so a system has been established to meet this need. Since potential benefits are currently being obtained, Other types of implants and other methods of marking the location will complicate the system, but do not rule out the possibility of doing so in the future.
