YY/T 0295.9-1997 is the English-translated version of 沙眼镊.

YY/T 0295.9-1997 is a recommended Chinese medical device industry standard for trachoma forceps and forms part 9 of the YY/T 0295 series of ophthalmic forceps. It gives the product classification and the technical requirements for the forceps.

The instrument is used to roll and squeeze trachoma granules. It carries Chinese classification C32, as do the other forceps in the series. It quotes GB 1220-1992, YY/T 0173.7-1994 and the general part YY/T 0295.1-1997, and it replaces GB 4747.9-1984. Issued on 27 August 1997, it has applied since 1 January 1998.
