Foreword

Accordance with the standards GB/T 1.1-2009. Drafting Rules "Standardization Guide Part 1 standard structure and preparation of" given.

Instead of the standard YY/T 0274.1-1995 "scaler", YY/T 0274.2-1995 "scalers." This standard YY/T 0274.1-1995, YY/T 0274.2-1995 differences are as follows.

--- Integration YY/T 0274.1-1995, YY/T 0274.2-1995, called "scratch-tooth";

--- Increase in Appendices A and B;

--- According to ISO 13397-1:1997 redrafted.

This revised standard adopts ISO 13397-1:1997 "periodontal curette scraping teeth and dental drills air - Part 1. General requirements." This standard and ISO 13397-1:1997 compared with the main differences include.

--- Remove the ISO 13397-1:1997 Foreword;

--- Increase product types and basic dimensions;

--- Increased inspection rules;

--- Increased signs, packaging, transportation and storage requirements;

--- Remove the ISO 13397-1:1997 Annex A;

--- Increase this standard Appendix A and B.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification scraping dental products, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies for removing supragingival or subgingival plaque and tartar scraped with a scraping-tooth.
