Scope
YY 0286.2-2006 is the English-translated version of 专用输液器 第2部分：一次性使用滴定管式输液器 重力输液式.
YY 0286.2-2006 is the second part of the mandatory Chinese medical device and pharmaceutical industry standard for infusion sets for special purposes, and it deals with single use burette infusion sets working by gravity feed.
It sets the requirements for burette sets of 50 mL, 100 mL and 150 mL nominal capacity, written so that the sets fit infusion containers and the matching intravenous equipment.
The part also gives guidance on the quality and the performance of the materials the sets are made from. It is an identical adoption of ISO 8536-5:2004 and quotes GB 8368.
It replaces GB 18458.2-2003. Issued on 19 April 2006, it has applied since 1 April 2007.
