1 Scope
YS/T 746 This section specifies the determination method based solder lead-free solder in nickel content.
This section applies to the determination of tin-based solder without nickel content. Measurement range. 0.0025% to 1.000%.
2 Method summary
Samples with hydrochloric acid, hydrogen peroxide dissolved with hydrochloric acid - hydrobromide exclude a large number of tin, in 5% nitric acid medium, using air - acetylene flame, Atomic absorption spectrometer at a wavelength of 232.0nm measured absorbance.
3 Reagents
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
3.1 hydrochloride (rho1.19g/mL).
Nitrate 3.2 (rho1.42g/mL).
3.3 hydrobromide (rho1.38g/mL).
3.4 Hydrogen peroxide (30%).
HCl 3.5 - hydrobromic acid (11).
3.6 Nickel standard stock solution. Weigh 1.0000g of nickel (>=99.99%), placed in a beaker of 250mL, 50mL of nitric acid was added (11), Dissolved by heating, boiling rid of nitrogen oxides, water transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, and dilute to volume, and mix. This solution containing 1mL 1mg nickel.
3.7 Nickel standard solution. Pipette 50.00mL Nickel standard stock solution (3.6) in 500mL volumetric flask, was added 25mL of nitric acid (3.2), Diluted with water to volume, and mix. This solution 1mL containing 100µg nickel.
4 Instrument
Atomic absorption spectrometer, with a nickel hollow cathode lamp.
Under optimum working conditions for those who can reach the following indicators can be used.
--- Characteristic concentration. a solution in the measurement matrix consistent solution, characteristic concentration of nickel should be less than 0.042µg/mL.
--- Precision. standard solution with the highest concentration of 10 times the absorbance measurements, the standard deviation should not exceed the average absorbance of 1.0%;
With the lowest concentration of standard solution (not "zero" concentration of the standard) measuring the absorbance of 10 times, the standard deviation should not exceed the maximum 0.5% concentration of the standard average absorbance.
--- Linear curve. A standard curve is divided into five sections according to concentration, absorbance difference of the absorbance difference between the highest and the lowest segment Ratio of not less than 0.70.
