Foreword

This standard replaces YS/T 257-1998 "indium".

Compared with YS/T 257-1998, this standard has the following changes.

--- the original standard of the three grades were modified on the indium and impurity components have more stringent requirements;

--- added a "In980" product grades;

--- increase the indium ingot weight 1000g and.200g two product specifications;

--- increase the production of sample-like sample;

--- the provisions of the inspection project.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of indium ingots.

This standard applies to zinc, lead, copper, tin and other smelting production process of comprehensive recovery of refined metal indium ingot, also applies to other indium waste Recycling of refined indium ingots in the material.
