Scope

YS/T 1877-2026 is the English-translated version of 铅锌冶炼水淬渣化学分析方法 多元素含量的测定 电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱法.

YS/T 1877-2026 describes a method for determining multiple elements in water-quenched slag from lead-zinc smelting by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. The elements are calcium oxide, iron, silicon dioxide, magnesium oxide, aluminium oxide, cadmium, copper, lead, gallium, germanium, antimony, cobalt, arsenic, zinc, sodium, manganese, nickel, tin and chromium. It applies to the determination of the content of these components in water-quenched slag from lead-zinc smelting.

Lead and zinc smelters, slag processors and recyclers, testing and inspection laboratories, and parties trading or disposing of such slag can use it to analyse the slag in one procedure. It is a voluntary standard (code with /T). It was approved and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 15 July 2026 and takes effect on 1 February 2027.
