GB/T 8151.8 Methods for chemical analysis of zinc concentrates - Part 8. Determination of cadmium content - Flame atomic absorption spectrometric method

3 Method summary

The samples were sintered in (9 191) sulfuric acid medium at 85 °C ~ 90 °C for 20min, and the coexisting elements such as lead and barium were separated by filtration.

Masking agents mask a small amount of interfering elements. In a buffer solution of sodium acetate at pH 5.5 to pH 6, using xylenol orange as an indicator, Na2EDTA standard titration solution titrated to the solution from purple to bright yellow is the end point. Measured the results for the amount of zinc, cadmium, deduction of cadmium, that is the amount of zinc.
