YD/T 7057-2026 is the English-translated version of IP网络设备支持Telemetry技术要求.

The document specifies the technical requirements for data collection by IP network equipment that supports telemetry. It includes the requirements for the telemetry data collection interface of the equipment, and the functional and performance requirements for telemetry data collection by the control plane, the forwarding plane and the management plane of the equipment. It applies to the routers and switches used in networking in the IP network environment of telecommunication operators.

It is used by router and switch manufacturers who build telemetry support into their products, by telecommunication operators that select and test equipment, and by test laboratories. It is a voluntary standard issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 1 June 2026 and effective from 1 September 2026. It is a new standard, and it gives manufacturers and operators one set of requirements for telemetry data collection.
