YD/T 7045-2026 specifies the general architecture and the technical requirements of the fixed broadband core network. It covers the concept of the fixed broadband core network, the system architecture, the functional features and the service framework. The document applies to the development and testing of fixed broadband core network equipment, and to the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and optimization of the related networks.

The standard is used by network equipment manufacturers, telecom operators, network designers and test laboratories involved in fixed broadband core networks. It is a voluntary industry standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
