YD/T 7033-2026 is the English-translated version of 5G移动通信网 核心网多播广播增强技术要求.

YD/T 7033-2026 establishes the overall architecture by which the 5G mobile communication core network supports enhanced multicast and broadcast. It specifies the functional requirements, the service procedures, the control plane and user plane protocol stacks, and the network function services. The document applies to the development and testing of the functions of the 5G core network related to multicast and broadcast support.

The standard is used by core network equipment manufacturers, mobile network operators, software developers and test laboratories that implement or verify multicast and broadcast features in 5G core networks. It is a voluntary industry standard, as shown by the /T in its code.
