YD/T 7031-2026 specifies the technical requirements and test methods for 5G private networks serving telemedicine. It covers the networking architecture of a 5G telemedicine private network, the functional requirements, the performance requirements and the security requirements, together with the corresponding test methods. The document applies to the design, development, construction and testing of 5G private networks for telemedicine.

The standard is useful to hospitals and telemedicine service providers that plan such networks, as well as telecom operators, network equipment manufacturers, system integrators and test laboratories. It is a voluntary industry standard, as shown by the /T in its code. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
