YD/T 7014-2026 specifies the elements and processes involved in intent management activities of an autonomous network. It mainly covers the management system, the management roles, the management processes, the related functions, the reference points and the information model. The document applies to the design, construction and management of intent management functions and related systems in autonomous networks.

Telecommunications operators, vendors of network management and orchestration systems, and system integrators who build autonomous network capabilities are typical users. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in its code shows. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 1 June 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard, and no earlier edition is replaced by it.
