YD/T 6961-2026 specifies the quality test methods used at the acceptance stage of an intelligent computing centre. For the hardware infrastructure it covers cable trays and conduits, communication cables, liquid cooling equipment and systems, power supply and distribution, fire protection, security monitoring and the machine room environment. For the IT facilities it covers the tests of intelligent computing servers, network switching equipment and similar devices.

The document applies to the acceptance testing of the hardware infrastructure and IT equipment of intelligent computing centres in all industries, of different sizes and types. Owners and operators of computing centres, construction and integration contractors, supervision bodies and test laboratories are the likely users. It is a voluntary standard. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 1 June 2026, and it is effective from 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
