YD/T 6959-2026 specifies test methods for the scale-out network of an intelligent computing data center. The methods cover five areas: network construction, network communication, high network reliability, network operation and maintenance, and network security.

The document applies to the testing and evaluation of scale-out networks in intelligent computing centres, and it is meant to guide both the testing and the acceptance of such networks. Data center operators, network equipment suppliers, system integrators and third-party test laboratories can use it when they check a scale-out network before it goes into service. It is a voluntary standard of the communications industry. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 1 June 2026, and it comes into force on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard and is a companion to the technical requirements for the same type of network.
