YD/T 6947-2026 specifies capability requirements for large model training and inference cluster systems in which software and hardware work together. For training clusters it covers the technology of key components and system-level capability requirements. For inference clusters it covers the technical capability of key components and system-level capability.

The document is a reference for building up the capability of large model training and inference cluster systems. Operators of computing centres, cluster designers, equipment suppliers and the buyers who specify such systems can use it. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in the code shows, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
