YD/T 6944.1-2026 is the English-translated version of 基于网络的物模型智能服务信息交互 第1部分：总体技术要求.

This first part specifies the general technical requirements for network-based information interaction in intelligent services of thing models. It contains the framework for that information interaction, the functional technical requirements for thing model intelligent services and the technical requirements for the information interaction interfaces.

The part applies to the planning, design and implementation of thing model intelligent services. It provides Internet of Things systems that are built around thing models with a mechanism for intelligent evolution and simulation.

Developers of Internet of Things platforms, system designers and service providers are its likely users. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in the code shows, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
