YD/T 6927.1-2026 is the English-translated version of 边缘人工智能平台技术要求和测试方法 第1部分：功能.

This first part of the series on edge artificial intelligence platforms specifies functional requirements and the matching test methods. The areas covered are hardware resource management, edge device management, edge data management, edge model management, edge model inference, edge application management and supporting functions.

The part applies to the development and selection of edge artificial intelligence platforms. It does not apply to scenarios in which mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones and computers are connected to the platform.

Platform developers can use it to design functions and to plan testing, while purchasers and operators of edge computing systems can use it when comparing platforms. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in the code indicates, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
