YD/T 6924-2026 sets out the basic framework of a large model application development platform, the kind of platform used to build applications on top of large artificial intelligence models offered as a service (Model as a Service, MaaS). It then specifies the technical requirements for the modules in four parts: construction of basic components, construction of intelligent agent applications, application management and integration, and platform operation management.

The document is a reference for those who build large model application development platforms, those who use them, and third-party testing bodies, in technology selection, in putting applications into use and in third-party testing. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in the code shows, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard and does not replace an earlier edition.
