YD/T 6906-2026 specifies the requirements for terminal equipment in video networking infrastructure built on cloud-network convergence. The requirements cover the general requirements, the hardware layer, the operating system layer, the capability layer, the application layer and the interfaces of the terminal equipment.

The document applies to guiding the planning, design and development of such terminal equipment, so that it fits the construction of video networking infrastructure based on cloud-network convergence, including the selection of terminal network element equipment and the application needs of the network. Terminal manufacturers, system designers and operators selecting equipment are typical readers. It is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
