Scope
YD/T 6899-2026 is the English-translated version of 自动组播隧道(AMT)协议YANG模型技术要求.
The document sets out the technical requirements for the YANG model of the Automatic Multicast Tunneling (AMT) protocol. The requirements cover the design of the model and its definition. A YANG model is the data modelling description used to configure and manage network devices, so the document is about how AMT is represented for device management.
It applies to guiding the design and implementation of the AMT protocol YANG model, and to the design, development and testing of network equipment that runs the AMT protocol YANG model. Device manufacturers, software developers working on network management and test laboratories are the usual readers. The /T in the code shows that it is voluntary. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
