YD/T 6878-2026 is the English-translated version of 基于SRv6的云网互联总体技术要求.

YD/T 6878-2026 specifies the technical architecture for cloud-network interconnection based on SRv6 (Segment Routing over IPv6). It also gives the technical requirements for operation and maintenance related to SRv6 cloud-network interconnection, and for the equipment used in it. Cloud-network interconnection links cloud resources and the network that carries traffic to them, and this document describes how SRv6 is used for that purpose.

The standard applies to cloud-network interconnection scenarios that are carried over SRv6 technology. Telecom operators, network equipment manufacturers, cloud service providers and system integrators are typical users. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
