YD/T 6873-2026 specifies the technical requirements for a full-traffic detection and analysis system in a 5G core network setting. The functional requirements cover data collection and parsing, threat detection, retrospective analysis and threat display. The document also gives requirements for operation and maintenance management, for security, and for generality of the system.

It applies to the research, development and testing of full-traffic detection and analysis systems used in 5G core network scenarios. Its users are system developers and vendors, mobile network operators that deploy such systems, and test laboratories that check them. It is a voluntary standard, as the /T in its code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new standard.
